Can this shower head and trim work with the Altado diverter for fixed shower head and hand held shower only (no tub)? Does the rough in valve listed for this work in that setting?

Yes, you can use our Altado diverter valve with our T17242-CZ. You will need the diverter trim and the diverter valve, R11000.
