Garbage item
The soap dispenser is 4 years old and never seemed to work quite right with soap building up at the pump mechanism. And today when I went to fill the reservoir the tube came out of the head and apparently broke off. It’s a soap dispenser and should last longer. Very disappointing.

Nice looking design, poor craftsmanship
The soap pump matches with my faucet and worked well for this first six months. Since then, I noticed that soap has been leaking out of my holder and getting under my sink messy. I tried to re-tighten it and noticed there’s no O-ring or seal that was included with the kit. Also, the threaded pipe going down from the pump to the bottle is a cheaper plastic and is cracked. I have been trying to stop the issue of leaking for a long time, and just started using a regular bottle of dish sap by the sink, which was not the look I was going for. I have also noticed that where the soap comes out of the pump has tarnished, even though I expect it will not continue to the top side I am concerned. Also it has a jagged edge from when Delta drilled the whole. After getting a small cut, I learned not to put my hand to close to the opening.
After writing this review I realized that the two stars was actually, too high and reduced it to one. I do appreciate the sleekness of the design though.

RP91950AR - soap dispenser leaks
When I pushed the soap dispenser handle down, soap leaked from the dispenser. The leak is due to a missing O ring in the soap dispenser handle. Delta replaced the entire soap dispenser though an O ring was all that was needed.
I think there is a problem with the handle design. It's heavy and the O ring is less than 1/8 inch in diameter. You can expect to support a heavy handle that on a small O ring.
I recommend that customers who own the RP91950AR dispenser cut their soap solution with water (1 part of soap + 1 part of water). I also recommend that customers periodically remove and clean the handle. Be careful to not remove or damage the O ring. If you do, the dispenser will leak.

Soap dispenser, do it.
We replaced our faucet that had a separate sprayer. The new faucet had a built in sprayer, we decided to put a soap dispenser in. I absolutely love it. I think we use less detergent because there’s less waste. Very convenient as a built in.

Soap goes everywhere but through the nozzle.
We installed this, but the nozzle fits so loosely on the pump that the soap is 'dispensing' into the base and not through the nozzle. There's absolutely no seal to keep the soap flowing where it should, so it just spills out on to the counter. I'm wondering if Delta put the wrong parts in the box or something, we've usually had good experiences with their products.

Do soap dispensers take reg liquid soap or foaming soap?

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP91950 soap dispenser can use liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. Foaming soap will pump from the soap dispenser but it will not foam.

What is the RP91950 soap dispenser made of (the nozzle and square base)? I am purchasing the chrome model of the Pivotal kitchen faucet, I hope the soap dispenser is made of meta/chrome as well, and not plastic like to many others.

We use a proprietary mix of both metallic and non-metallic parts in areas where corrosion can be avoided in order to provide the longest lasting, highest quality product possible while still keeping affordability and ease of maintenance and installation in mind.

I notice the soap container holds 13 oz of soap. Is it possible to use a smaller container?? I’m concerned it may be too long to fit into my vanity cabin.

Why doesn't the RP91950 Soap / Lotion Dispenser, that is listed under Pivotal Accessories, come in the Stainless finished that the Pivotal collection comes in. Artic Stainless is not a Pivotal finish choice and to my understanding has a different hue.

Can I dispense soap directly from a large container under the sink, instead of having to refill? I'm imagining replacing a bulk bottle very occasionally, rather than using a funnel to refill from a big bottle.
