An 1/8" too far
The product itself is a quality piece, but the instructions (both printed and online at the time) were incorrect. When I purchased this item the Delta website, and the printed installation instructions in the packaging specified the spread for the mounting plates as 6 5/8". I measured precisely, as I was drilling holes in brand new porcelain tile. Of course, when I went to mount it the lever to link the two side together they were too far apart. I took the pieces and then physically measured and they should've been drilled at 6 1/2" (I see this website now has a new shop drawing with the correct measurement). This was infuriating, having spent so much time and money on the bathroom remodel, only to be ruined by terrible documentation on Delta's part. Thankfully I was able to modify the mounting plates to allow them to slide together enough to avoid drilling more holes in our new tile. Lesson learned (even though I checked the website documentation and the printed documentation, I was burned).

Tetra Wall Mounted Pivoting Toilet Paper Holder
I absolutely love this holder - It is plain but elegant - The best part of this holder is that you don't have to wrestle with a spring mechanism in order to change the paper! It looks great and makes life so easy!! Got one for our master bath. Liked it so much we got one for our Powder Room!
