Great Look - MInor Issue
Just installed and love the look! Tightening the set screws is a bit challenging, but only has to be done once. One issue: the intructions say to mount the wall brackets on 3-1/4" centers. That was incorrect. I had to mount them on 3-1/8" centers in order to get the holder to sit flush to the wall before tightening the screws. I installed on tile, so the toughest part was the drilling!

Nice fixture
This paper holder completes the power room. It was easy to install, however the installation measurement between the mounting brackets are off by 1/8”. There is no room on the fixture that will accommodate the installation spread called out. Once I adjusted the spread, the fixture fit tightly to the wall.

my favorite tissue holder
I love the style and ease of loading toilet tissue on this holder. I have two-- champagne bronze (lovely color) and chrome. I don't know what these people are referring to about difficult installation. It took less than 20 minutes. This is the sturdiest holder I've used in a while, and I have 5 bathrooms and have lived in same house for 40 years. I've had Delta, Kohler, Baldwin, Rohl, etc. Many have fallen off the wall after 10-15 years, and my last Baldwin's screws stripped after 9 years.

FRUSTRATING WALL MOUNT HARDWARE
Unintelligent antiquated wall mount design takes away from this attractive, nicely finished heavy piece. This tissue holder comes with two small wall mount brackets that must be leveled and installed 3.25 inches apart. Here are the design flaws which made what could have been a quick, simple install with some smart mod designs, a frustrating one-hour ordeal: need to replace the two small brackets that make leveling difficult with a longer one-piece bracket; need to be mindful that using old-fashioned set-screws that require an allen key (included) are set WAY TOO CLOSE to the wall, making tightening with an L-shaped allen key ridiculously difficult; and lastly and the worst part of this failed design is that when you are lucky enough to have a stud behind your drywall into which you can screw one of these two tiny brackets, tightening the bracket into drywall causes the bracket to sink just slightly enough so that the set screws no longer contact the bracket flange. I ended up adding spacers behind the two brackets to counter the effect of the drywall compression. Come on Delta, please engineer some upgrades into your mounting system.

We need to mount this on the right side of the toilet. Is the end of the arm long enough to keep the tissue from being pulled off? Or can it be installed "upside down"?

You may install this tissue paper holder upside down, although the notch on the end of the post will also be upside down, so it will not hold the roll in place as effectively.

What is the weight of the holder -Since the back side is flat could this mounted using 3m Command Heavy Duty Adhesive Strips?

Can this product be installed vertically?
With the open side up, of course! :)
Im not sure if the brackets would hold well enough to mount vertically. Horizontally... the small attachment screw screws up into bracket to secure to wall. So the weight is held from an up and down direction.
If it's mounted vertically.....the small attachment screw would screw from the side into bracket to secure to wall. So the bracket would be trying to hold in a left/right direction , while the toilet paper holder itself would still exert a weight up and down.
You can't turn the bracket the other direction for installation.

Hi, what size allen wrench for the screws to hold the holder in place? Is there a template for installation? My contractor installed and tossed everything and I need to move the toilet paper holder. Thanks.
