Just what I needed
I purchased a new home that has the same kind of towel bar so I was extremely pleased to know Build.com carries them so I ordered 3 of the same towel bars. Shipping was quick and the ordering online was so simple. I plan to return to Build.com if there is anything else I need to buy for my new home.

AWESOME!!!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Ashlyn Collection for my newly built house because of the styling. I wanted a modern look and am extremely happy with my purchase. I bought the towels bars and toilet tissue holders. The toilet tissue holders are greatly improved from ones I brought for my last house. I had no issues with the size as mentioned in another review. They fit great in the space!

Check Length Carefully
Be careful to check your length requirements. The Ashlyn series assembly is longer then 18" or 24" center-to-center mounting by 1-3/8 inches. It will not align with existing holes that are 18" or 24" centers. I had to cut 1-3/8" off each bar. Chrome finish is difficult to cut.

Q&A
I have two towel bars installed on the inside of the bathroom door. Recently, one side of one of the bars is not holding in place. The screw on the bottom of the flange cover will not thread behind the anchor plate and the bar keeps falling. Can I fix?

What size allen wrench is required to tighten down the set screw on body (ends that the bar fits into)? The installer did not leave us with the tool. The body falls off while putting on or removing a towel.

The M4 set screw should use a 2mm wrench.

I would like to mount this on the wall opposite the shower head. Can a wet washcloth be hung on this to dry or would it damage the finish?

Allowing water to evaporate on the finished surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. This can damage the finish over time. The clear topcoat on our organic finishes, including matte black and Venetian bronze, can be especially susceptible to damage from mineral deposits.
We recommend always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. See our frequently asked questions for more information:

One side of my towel bar keeps falling down, and when I try to put it back up, the set screw doesn't seem to "go in" all the way. Is the screw supposed to go underneath the bracket?

This model can be installed to wall studs, ceramic tile, sheetrock or even hollow doors. If you are installing the bracket to a wall stud, please ensure the screw is going into the wall stud.
First you will figure out where you would like to place this towel bar, make dots to verify, place the mounting bracket on the wall and screw the screws in the wall using the specific tool required.
