The high-tech capacitance sensing capabilities of Touchless faucets allow the flow of water to be activated by breaking the capacitance field anywhere around the device, unlike traditional hands-free infrared sensors which require your hands be in a particular place and are sensitive to lighting conditions and clothing and skin color. Love this faucet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this faucet and the touchless feature! We had a similar Delta product before and didn’t purchase the plug for it. This time we got the plug and highly recommend it! Then you don’t have to crawl under the sink to change the batteries in the future. Well worth paying a little more.

Did not work for me.
Had a lot of trouble trying to install this and getting it to work. I tried it on multiple sinks to no avail. It would often just run a lot wasting a lot of water for me personally. I usually have good experiences so maybe it was a faulty faucet. I really like the design and intention of the product.

Perfect if u have kids.
Love this. It's touch less so I don't have to worry about my son not being able to reach the handle to turn it on. Fairly easy to install. Perfect if u have kids. I don't have to worry if my son forgot to turn off the water as it shuts off after a few minutes. Seems to be a good and durable product, it doesn't look or feel like it was cheaply made. Thank you so much for the opportunity.

Beautiful Faucet
Upgrading from a builder grade bathroom faucet to a Delta Trinsic Touch20 has made a huge difference in my bathroom. Not only is it’s a beautiful faucet, but it’s also super functional.
Installation was a little more complicated than a run of the mill faucet but still pretty simple. We were missing a nut but we were still able to make it work.
Other than that my only real complaint is that it appeared to have motion sensor capabilities for the first few days we had it installed (I can’t remember if that was a feature listed on the box and my partner has tucked the box away in storage), but I think the PIR sensor stopped working very quickly.
It’s obviously not the most important feature but I’m really amused by the light that changes from blue to purple to red dependent on your water temperature.

How is the temperature controlled, and can it be changed conveniently on the fly?

The temperature on our 559TLF-MPU is adjusted with the handle. Lift the handle and rotate the lever to the left to get hot, and rotate to the right to get cold.

Do the bathroom touch20 sink faucet have sensitivity settings, if so where do I grab or touch it to change the motion sensitivity? Sometimes I have the lever on and water comes out, but when I tap on it to stop it doesn't and the led just flickers, why?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 559TLF-MPU.
There are two modes for your faucet: Touch2O with Touchless, and Touch2O only (Touchless Off). If the material of the sink or countertop is metal or the faucet is too sensitive, the Touch2O only mode may work best for you.
To change the mode:
1. Turn the handle to the off position.
2. Tap the faucet 6 times in 5 seconds, wait for red & blue flash on the LED base. (If the light doesn’t flash red & blue, then wait for 5 seconds, repeat the step until red & blue flash.)
3. Then tap the faucet again 6 times within 4 seconds. the LED light will flash red and blue again. Mode change is completed.
4. You can change the mode back with the same steps above.
A flashing red light indicates a power issue. Change the batteries and check that they are all installed in the correct orientation.

If you can turn on the water just by touching the faucet, can you also turn it off by simply touching the faucet? I rarely need the faucet to run for a whole 2 minutes, soo the auto shut off at 2 minutes would be much longer than my typical use.
