LEAKS FROM BOTTOM DOOR GASKET!!
Installed this unit and just like everyone else the bottom gasket leaked after the first use. We are having to put a towel down up against the bottom just to collect the water that escapes from the door bottom gasket. Very annoying as we paid good money for this and have to resort to other ways to prevent water damage along our floor, mind you the safety aspect of it so we don’t slip and crack our heads. I’ve been on the search for a new bottom gasket to try out but haven’t found anything that seems suitable for it. Wish I would’ve went with a different option from the beginning of our bathroom remodel. I’d be pleased to just get a new updated gasket that would prevent water from escaping so we don’t have to use a towel anymore such a pain!!!

why is it so leaky from
Leaks due to poor design
Like everyone else said, this shower leaks. It was the shower that came with my condo and despite replacing the gaskets, it continues to leak.

Glass door exploded
I bought this shower enclosure in Dec. 2016. It was installed by a licensed contractor. Last week the door exploded for no apparent reason. It made a very loud noise and exploded into pieces all over the inside of the shower and bathroom. Before the door exploded, there was no damage to the door and was used as intended. Luckily, no one was in the bathroom at the time. I contacted Delta and was told that they cannot do anything because it is past the 5 year warranty.

horrible system
Contractor here. Do not purchase this unit, leaks all over. Contacted Delta after install and explained the problem with the hinge side gasket and they sent a replacement-the same piece I had. Called again and after pleading for 40 minutes that something isn't right I was told that I was wrong and that's the piece that fits...it absolutely doesn't. Now I have an irate customer and am stuck trying to find replacement gaskets at my expense. Wasn't able to give less than one star and will never be using Delta on any projects again.

Junk, sagging door
Door was sagging due to poor design (weight on hinges) orignial install was spot on, but the panel pulled out of the wall and shattered. Delta doesn't sell replacement glass parts and the shower isn't compatible with other systems so I'm stuck having to replace the entire shower/base or reinstall this junk. Thanks Delta.

By far the worst purchase ever made!
I wish we never purchased this shower! It started leaking at the bottom of the door, no matter what we do we can’t fix it. We put this shower in for our daughter because she needed hip surgery. I really wish I would have done a little research before purchasing this, but we didn’t have much time to make the bathroom handicap accessible. I don’t know what we are going to do, she needs another surgery and this shower is a fall risk since it leaks. I wish we would have gone with a square base instead so we could use a shower curtain, it would have saved so much grief!! I really hate to waste the money and it hasn’t even been a year yet!! So disappointed and disgusted!

Room for improvement but nothing serious!
My shower setup wasn’t 100% perfect or plum. This shower enclosure conformed to my particular scenario. One thing I would like to see on this shower enclosure is rounded hinge corners and straight installation. Preinstalled hinges were not straight and I was not ready to take them apart and make my job longer/harder…it worked as it was. Lastly, my wife said she found the bottom strip on the bathroom floor one morning. Haven’t seen it for myself yet so I know what to fix.
Lastly, I have an active leak but that’s due to the trash caulk I purchased. It is truly pure TRASH, it has nothing to do with the enclosure itself.
Overall, it’s a very solid and beautiful enclosure I would buy again. Just make sure you use the template and check your markings more than 3 times.

The door detached from our unit and the stress caused one of the side walls to shatter. Is there a way to obtain a replacement panel without purchasing an entire kit?

Can this be installed on a 39" base?

What are the guide lines for how much torque to apply to the hardware screws on a Delta 38 x 38 glass enclosure model # 422061 ?

Neo angle Delta shower system. The side panel that the door hinges on was shipped with the glass was not glued . The other panel was glued.. When the door swings, it pulls the top of side panel pulls out of the slot in the jamb. Whats the fix?

I am looking for a replacement part for the shower door in this model. I need a new door sweep as mine has cracked and now a strip of it is just flopping around. No one in Home Depot seems to be able to help me. Please provide a link so I can order.

Is this enclosure available in 68" height ? Or in the alternative, can I get a shorter door for the unit.
I am installing in a room with a very short ceiling (74" from the top of my shower base) and need either enough room above to let steam out or a shorter door for steam release.
