This shower rod is listed as 6' on your description, but you show in the Q&A that it is adjustable from 58-62". Just wanting to verify before we order that this will work on a 58" opening. Thanks!

My wall-to-wall dimension is 56-3/4". Can I trim a small amount off the rod?

Hi Don, Thank you for your question. The model 42205-SS shower curtain rod will adjust from 58" to 62". The rod cannot be cut down to 56-3/4". The pins that hold the rod to the wall brackets are at the ends of the bar. Cutting any length from the bar will remove the connecting pins. Thanks, Dave

What is the thickness (or gauge) of this rod. Nothing mentioned in the specs.

Is the 5 foot Delta curved shower curtain rod adjustable? The dimension from wall to wall is 58" not 60". Will the rod fit?

How does one adjust the length of a delta 42205 stainless curved shower rod? Physically, how is it done.
