PRODUCT FEATURES
Your new grab bar coordinates with many Delta branded fixtures and competitive bath suites while offering an attractive safety feature in the bath. The wall anchor included with this grab bar provides a secure mount and, when properly installed, supports up to 500 pounds of force. That's twice the ADA requirement. Mounting on wood blocking behind all wall surfaces is preferable for additional security.

This Grab says it's ADA approved, in the California Building Code 11B-609.5, it says the grab bar shall be free of sharp or abrasive elements and shall have rounded edges. Is this truly ADA approved? Are the edges truly rounded enough for it to be ADA?

Can this product be mounted inside a shower or is it only for dry locations?

I have a 16” Delta “Tempra” polished chrome grab bar and wish to match a 42” gab bar to that one. On the 16” packing box is the code DND 5916-PC. Can you send me the product codes/info for both the 42” model and the 36” to matche the 16” one I have?

Is the 42" Contemporary stainless grab bar discontinued? Cannot find it on line or in stores. Seems like 36" is the biggest they stock.
