On the Caffery single handle faucet for the bathroom sink, is hot water received by rotating the handle down, or up. My wife and I have differing opinions. Labeling on the faucet leads me to believe down. Thanks

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 15827LF.
Cold water would be with the handle pointing up, and hotter water as the handle is pulled forward and down.
